The impact of the internet on divorce

Recently, I have heard that divorce lawyers are using Facebook to “catch” their opposing parties in behavior that impacts their divorce case.  I have seen individuals talk about how an iPhone tracking app has caused the husband to discover an affair.  A quick search for an “app” to help find out about an affair reveals 316,000 Google results.  Clearly, then, the internet and more advanced technology is having an impact on marriages.  But is it accelerating the affair process, or the finding out part?  One writer thinks the answer is yes.
